1. What is the 990 Vibration Transmitter used for?
It is intended for OEMs of centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, and fans who want a simple 4-20 mA vibration signal for their control system (PLC/DCS). It is not a replacement for a full continuous monitoring system like System 1.
2. Does the 990-04-70-03-00 include the probe and extension cable?
No. You must order the 3300 NSv probe and 3300 NSv extension cable separately. The 990 transmitter accepts input from these components.
3. What is the full-scale vibration range for this configuration?
Option AA = 04 means 0 to 4 mils peak-to-peak (0 to 100 μm pp). Other ranges available: 0-5 mils, 0-8 mils, 0-10 mils.
4. What is the total system length?
Option BB = 70 means 7.0 meters (23.0 feet) total system length (probe + extension cable). The 5.0 meter option is also available.
