A: No, you do not need to purchase it separately. Siemens includes one server module free of charge inside the box of every ET 200SP Interface Module (e.g., IM 155-6 PN) and CPU.

A: Usually no. When you add an ET 200SP Interface Module or CPU to your hardware configuration in TIA Portal, the software automatically places the server module at the very end of the rack.
