GE IC655ALG567 Series Five 2-Channel Analog Output Module

IC655ALG567 provides two independent analog output channels with a range of −10 to +10 V. It converts Series Five PLC output data into field signals; the connected device must accept the selected output type and range.

IC655ALG567 provides voltage-only outputs from −10 to +10 V. It is not the 0–10 V / 4–20 mA IC655ALG566 output variant; confirm the receiving device range before selecting the module.

IC655ALG567 uses 12-bit binary resolution. Conversion begins when new data arrives from the CPU and takes 0.1 ms; system response also depends on the PLC program update and the connected field device.

IC655ALG567 uses the base-unit +5 VDC supply at up to 150 mA and a user-supplied 24 VDC ±10% source at up to 200 mA. Check both supplies before investigating missing analog output.

IC655ALG567 occupies 32 consecutive output points beginning with its assigned slot reference. Each channel uses 12 data bits; follow the documented channel mapping and signal scaling rather than assuming a discrete-output bit layout.

IC655ALG567 has two outputs referenced to a shared user-side common. Receiving devices connected to the module must use compatible reference potentials; follow the wiring diagram and verify the required load arrangement before commissioning.
